“One Beautiful Day”
Candice and Ed are a funny, bubbly, and romantic couple that have known each other for the last five years. They’ve been through a lot in that time but have managed to come out the other side stronger and more in love than ever!
I’ve known Candice for a while. In fact when I think about it, we actually go way back to high school where we met through tutoring. So having been friends for so long, you can imagine my surprise and excitement when Candice’s boyfriend Ed called me out of nowhere and told me he was going to propose. Not only that, but he wanted me to document their engagement. I was blown away and of course quickly said yes.
Unfortunately the weather played havoc with our original plans, so we were forced to postpone. A bit of rain wasn’t going to stop Ed though and he went on to propose to Candice during a romantic lunch at Berowra Waters Inn. Of course Candice said yes and we rescheduled their shoot for what we hoped would be a fine, sunshiny day. Luckily on shoot day the sun shone, the day was warm and there was hardly a cloud in the sky.
We started at the well known Queen Victoria Building and not wanting to waste any time, we got stuck straight into it. Candice and Ed took no time at all to warm to the camera and pretty soon we were off to The Rocks for the second part of our shoot. We were quite an attraction, Candice, Ed and their HUGE red balloon. We may have even caused some disruption to the traffic while trying to get the perfect shot but it was all so worth it. We used the quaint little streets and grungy lanes so well known to The Rocks area and managed to get the amazing shots we were after.
Finally we headed off to our final destination, Mrs Macquarie’s Chair. Now a location as wonderful as this one deserves nothing but the best, so we had Candice and Ed change into some formal attire. We made to most of the stunning backdrops available to us and captured some fantastic images featuring during sunset. Five hours later we were tired and hungry but so happy with what we had achieved. This gorgeous couples engagement was well and truly documented and now they have images and memories that will last a lifetime.
